Compact Recording Systems is a music production conservancy located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Our mission is to help aspiring acoustic artists achieve their dreams. We enroll candidates by written application, a video or audio of your work, and the will to succeed. In short, tell us your story. Our selection process includes consideration of intangibles such as talent, style, charisma, and originality. Compact Recording Systems is a not-for-profit entity, and our reward is simply to help you sound and look your best if you are selected.
Our range of programs for the acoustic artist includes audio recording, music videos, graphic design, music instruction, and production type services. We love our work, and that is why we believe we can help you progress.
We work exclusively with individuals who are bluegrass, classical or folk artists. We also consider alternative acoustic songwriters and voiceover artists. If you are performing any other musical art form, we will gladly refer you to a qualified studio as a courtesy.
Our services are limited to audio recording, editing, mixing, mastering, video production, etc. We do not provide finished goods such as compact disk replications, nor backup musicians unless you pay them for their services. However, we can provide a finished CD video or audio master to help further your career.
